Warren Allmand on Board of Directors of the Black Coalition of Quebec

The Board of Directors of the Black Coalition of Quebec is pleased to announce that Mr Warren Allmand has been elected as a special representative to advise the Board on Human Rights and to undertake other social justice issues he feel appropriate. Mr Allmand a former Solicitor General occupied different ministerial positions at the Federal level; until recently he was city councillor of Montreal. He has worked with many human rights organizations to promote individual rights and to gain access to equal justice. Mr Allmand has shown particular interest in the controversial use of the Taser Gun and the Freddy Villanueva case.
The Coalition is fortunate to have this outstanding citizen as an advocate.
